Die Dreigroschenoper

I went to see the Threepenny Opera in the St. Pauli Theater last night. It's a great play and the cast was excellent. I have a few tunes stuck in my head right now. The theater is tiny and it's quite an event to see a live performance. Beats the movies hands down... Mental note to do things like this more often (hm - this could be a nice New Year's resolution).

I was surprised to learn that the play has been translated into English as well. Maybe I'll check it out back in the states - I'm kind of curious and it would be great fun.
