Skihouse

A lot of things have happened since my last post, but I'll start by telling you about how awesome last weekend in Tahoe was. Cecile, Daniel and I signed up for a ski cabin lease this year, which is a bit unfortunate as this year's snowboarding season has been pretty disappointing. Tahoe finally got some snow over the past two weeks and so we made our first trip to the cabin together with Olivia. The cabin is located at Donner Lake and is pretty big. By my count, it has at least 12 sleeping spots in beds, but it could easily host 20 people if necessary.


It was good hitting the slopes again, even though my knee didn't really like the strain, got a bit cranky, and convinced me not to ride on Sunday. The real highlight though were the other people in the house. We had a big dinner on Saturday night and it was great to get to know everyone. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep snowboarding this season, but I'll definitely hang out at the cabin again ;)
