San Jose Sharks vs. Minnesota Wild

Joerg had an extra ticket for last nights Sharks game and so I had the pleasure to enjoy a great game against the Wild. The live experience is awesome and so different from watching the game on TV. It's amazing how fast these guys fly over these ice. The action is intense!

The Sharks started strong, scoring two goals within the first ten minutes. Minnesota scored four minutes later in a heavily combatted first period, that ended with a double penalty for the Sharks. Neither the Sharks nor the Wild were able get ahead in the second period, stringing us along for a thrilling third period. The Sharks were able to score again five minutes before the end of game, obliterating any hopes the Wilds might have had.
