International Taiko Festival

On Saturday we all went to Berkeley to attend the International Taiko Festival, which is organized by the San Francisco Taiko Dojo. Olivia is taking lessons there and after seeing the performance, I'd love to try it as well. It's amazing with how much energy the players hit the drums. They do not just use their arms to play the drums, but the whole body is supporting a single motion.

Before the performance, we ventured onto Telegraph Road for a quick dinner. We ended up getting crêpes to-go from a tiny place and they were pretty good, but maybe a bit thick. Check out the "order here" sign - it's a classic!
